To Catastrophise or not to Catastrophise Mental health is not always about being in crisis, it is about ensuring your emotional wellbeing is positive, that you are feeling good and functioning well. We all go through stages in our lives when things are not working and just don’t feel right. We may feel quite anxious and this can start to affect all areas of our lives. Try not to catastrophise, it is easy to think things are worse than they actually are. Here are some tips on how to manage this anxiety;   Try to find something to do which you enjoy to channel your anxious energy Take control, write a list about your worry or worries, ask yourself, how likely is this to happen, who can help me to manage this, if the worst does happen what could that look like, what do I want to happen, what does this look like Speak to someone you trust, let them see your list and talk through this with you Take a step back and think about what advice you would give someone
