Bereavement Bereavement is the loss of someone important to us, whether that be a family member, friend or a pet. Grief is the process we go through and the feelings and emotions we experience. When we lose someone close to us it can be devastating, and therefore it is important that we seek support from others. This could be in the form of talking to a trusted adult, a teacher or tutor, family and friends, or seeking professional support if you feel this would be helpful.
