Keeping Yourself Well

During lockdown 3.0 it is important that we prioritise our wellbeing and mental health. You are all working extremely hard to make sure you stay on track and compete all your work. You are accessing your lessons remotely and you are engaged with your learning. Well done to you all.Now you also need to make sure you are structuring your days to include wellbeing time. Think of all the things you like to do, reading, walking, running, cycling, watch movies, yoga, arts and crafts, baking, cooking, mindfulness, talk to friends….. the list can be endless.

Tips for Keeping Yourself Well:

  • Stay Active
  • Eat Well
  • Sleep Well
  • Enjoy your Hobbies (choose from the list above)
  • Talk to Friends and Families
  • Organise a Virtual Quiz
  • Access Togetherall and Kooth
  • Try mindfullness, for example: How to Relax and 10 Minute Sleep Meditation.
  • Structure your day, see the below example;
  • 8am-9am

    Wakeup, have breakfast and get showered and dressed

    9:10am -10:10am

    Lesson 1 or completing work.

    10:10am-10:20am

    Break- cup of tea!

    10:20am-11:30am

    Lesson 2 or completing work or Mindfulness- drawing, colouring, listening to music, reading

    11:30- 12:40pm

    Lesson 3 or completing work

    12:40-1:40pm

    Lunch break- eat a healthy lunch, hydrate, get outside, walk, exercise

    1:40pm- 2:50pm

    Lesson 4 or Mindfulness- drawing, colouring, listening to music, reading

    2:50pm-4pm

    Lesson 5 or completing work

    4pm-5pm

    Break- Cup of tea! Catch up with friends and family

    If you are feeling overwhelmed take a break, remember there is support available to you and there is lots of information on togetherall re managing stress and anxiety.
